Noticeable sap and structure and in this warm vintage, yet the wine retains a comfortable demeanor. Mid weight flavors of black cherry, black raspberry and spice carry through an expansive mid palate to a gratifying finish. Round and smooth in the mouth with refined tannins make for easy drinking now. Score: 92. Reviewed November 19, 2016
