2008 Littorai B.A. Thieriot Vineyard Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

13.9% alc.. · Moderately dark reddish purple color in the glass. The nose lacks expression, offering only demure aromas of plum, black cherry, oak spice and smoke. Guaiacol dominates the flavor profile with added black cherry fruit. Good tannic backbone and lengthy finish. Enjoyment will depend on tolerance for smoke taint. (When a bottle was reviewed in December 2010, the smoke taint was not evident) Drink up. Reviewed February 13, 2017
