Aged on the lees in French oak barrels, 2 to 5-year-old, for 11 months. Bottled unfiltered, without Velcorin. · Moderately light garnet color in the glass. Nicely scented, with aromas of fresh cherry, raspberry and oak spice. Fresh, wholesome and giving, with a mid weight core of black cherry fruit. Slightly earthy, with a satin texture and some finishing purpose. Score: 91. Reviewed January 17, 2019
