2013 Siduri Sonoma County Pinot Noir

14.1% alc., 4,489 cases, $22, screwcap. A combination of Sonoma Mountain, Sonoma Coast and Russian River Valley fruit. Unfined and unfiltered. · Moderate reddish purple color in the glass. The aromas really pop upon opening with notes of black cherry, deep raspberry and spice, but fade a bit in the glass over time. The tasty core of black cherry fruit is tasty, silky and forward, with plenty of richness to satisfy. The tannins are well-proportioned and the finish is juicy and pleasing. A solid wine that will perk up any mid week dinner. Score: 88. Reviewed December 10, 2014
