Aged 10 months in 30% new French oak barrels. · Moderately dark reddish purple color in the glass. Aromas of ripe black cherry, blackberry, anise and forest floor. Plush, generous and silky on the palate, with considerable tobacco-tinged oak infusing the dark fruited core of fruit. The wine is forward drinking with modest tannins and some finishing length.
