2014 Manzoni Home Vineyard Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir

14.2% alc., 1,385 cases, $35. Release summer 2016. Grower Mark Manzoni and winemaker David Coventry. Clones 777, 115 and a La Tache suitcase selection. · Moderately light reddish purple color in the glass. Aromas of black cherry syrup, spice cabinet and sweet oak draw your nose into the glass. Forward drinking, with flavors of black cherry, cola, spice and an oak overlay that is noticeable but comforting. The wine finishes with an intensely fruity and juicy ending that lingers. An exceptional value. Score: 93. Reviewed August 17, 2016
