Story	Working for Helen in her Marcassin Vineyard, Ehren spent a year exploring the area and eventually acquired a 40-acre parcel on the Gualala Ranch with five plantable acres. The vineyard shares a small region with Marcassin, Flowers, Hirsch, Martinelli, and Peter Michael. First marketable vintage in 2001. A second adjoining parcel was acquired and planted in 2002 with six different Pinot Noir selections. The first meager yields were in 2006. Both parcels are organically farmed.

Location	Minimum elevations of 1000 feet (above the fog line) and 1-3 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean as the crow flies. Located in the new Seaview-Fort Ross appellation to distinguish it as a unique area in the Sonoma Coast.
Aspect	Surrounded by madronas. douglas firs, redwoods and giant oak trees.
