Toad Hollow Vineyards
Toad Hollow Vineyards was launched in 1994 with 3,000 cases of 1993 Russian River Valley Chardonnay. Merlot, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, sparkling wine, and Pinot Noir was added later. The Pinot Noir lineup includes a Russian River Valley Goldie's Vines Vineyard, an Eye of the Toad Rose and a Reserve labled as "Rod's Pride," for the owner of Goldie's Vines Vineyard. The consulting winemaker is Ray Coursen of Elyse Winery. A tasting room is located in downtown Healdsburg at 409A Healdsburg Ave, one block north of the Plaza. It is open everyday from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM. 707-431-8667. The wines are also sold online. The labels and theme is quite whimsical. |
