Orchid Hill Vineyards
Orchid Hill is a 51-acre vineyard in the Templeton Gap area of the west side of Paso Robles wine country. The proprietors are Mike and Estrella Schenkhuizen.
The winemaker, Dan Kleck, has over 30 years of winemaking experience. He was involved in creating the first vintages of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay under the Great Estates line of Kendall-Jackson Monterey Winery. Later, he created the Carmel Road wine project under the Artisans & Estates umbrella of wineries, crafting Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from vineyards in Monterey County. Kleck crafts multiple varietals at Orchid Hill Vineyards including a Pinot Noir from grapes grown in the Templeton Gap.
A tasting room is located at 1140 Pine Street in Paso Robles. Call for hours (805-237-7525).
