Scott Family Estate

Scott Family Estate is part of the Rutherford Wine Company wine family that includes Rutherford Ranch, Round Hill and Lander Jenkins wines. Scott produces ultrapremium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from family farmed vineyards in the Arroyo Seco appellation of Monterey County.

The Rutherford Ranch Winery is on the site of the original Round Hill Winery started in the 1970s by Ernie and Virginia Van Asperen. Marko and Theo Zaninovich, long-time share holders with the Van Asperen family, acquired the winery in 2000. The estate vineyards were replanted and the winery and tasting room underwent significant renovations.

The winemaker is Steve Rued, a graduate of University of California at Davis. He was the winemaker at Kenwood Vineyards before joining Rutherford Wine Company in 2005.

The wines are sold on the website. The tasting room at 1680 Silverado Trail S. in St. Helena is open daily.
