Pacific Coast Vineyards
A family owned winery in California's Central Coast. The wines are crafted by owner and winemaker Todd Schaefer in small lots. Varietals offered include Pinot Noir, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Todd, and his wife Tammy, have a background in vineyard instillation and have been crafting wine since 1999. Todd is a graduate of University of California at Davis viticulture and enology program and has served a number of apprenticeships in wineries of Santa Barbara County.
Contact the principals regarding availability. The 2007 Babcock Vineyards Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir won Best of Class and Judges' Choice awards at the 2010 San Franisco Chronicle wine competition.
