Boekenoogen Vineyard & Winery
Established in 1998 by John Boekenoogen who converted his cattle ranch in the Santa Lucia Highlands and converted it into a vineyard planted to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. After a few years of success selling grapes to others, the Boekenoogen family decided to construct a boutique winery. The wines produced at Boekenoogen Winery are one of the few to be completely estate grown and bottled on the property in the Santa Lucia Highlands. The family is enthusiastically involved in the vineyards, winery, tasting facility and on their cattle ranch in Carmel Valley. Love the tagline, "Boekenoogen Wines. Hard to Say. Easy to Drink." The tasting room at 24 W Carmel Valley Rd in Carmel Valley is open 11:00 to 5:00 daily. The wines are sold online. |
