Alan and Sandra Silvestri founded Silvestri Vineyards in 1998, planted Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah vines in 2000 and 2001, and released their first Pinot Noir in 2003. The estate vineyards are located 15 miles east of the Pacific Ocean in the Carmel Valley.
