Campion Wines

Larry Brooks was the first winemaker at Acacia Winery in Carneros in 1979 and made wine there for 19 years. Acacia was one of the first California wineries to specialize in single vineyard wines including Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. He tired of the corporate grind and left in 2000 to start his own label, Campion Wines, dedicated to producing single vineyard Pinot Noir. He sources grapes from vineyards in Carneros, Edna Valley and the Santa Lucia Highlands.
