Orsi Papale Estate Wines
Bernard Orsi and Lawrence Papale, friends for over thirty years, partnered in 1995 to produce their first Orsi Papale wine. The first commercial vintage followed in 2000. Papale is the winemaker, sourcing grapes from Dry Creek and Russian River appellations. Estate Pinot Noir vineyards include Mark West Station adjacent to Sapphire Hill and Eastside Road just across the Russian River from Rochioli. A Russian River Valley Pinot Noir blend is produced, with the remainder of the grapes from the two vineyards sold to other wineries. The wines are available for tasting at the Michael Bernard Tasting Room, 779 Westside Road in Healdsburg (open daily 11:00-5:00). 707-433-2900. |
