Malibu Family Wines
The 1,000-acre Saddlerock Ranch lies in Malibu's Santa Monica Mountains and is home to Malibu Family Wines. The estate has been the site of many movies and television shows and is home to many exotic animals as well as a popular weekend setting for weddings and other events. There are 65 acres of vineyards with expansion planned. Planting began in 1997 with 14 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Today, there are eight varieties planted (no Pinot Noir). There are two labels: Semler and Saddlerock. Pinot Noir has been released under the Saddlerock label. |
