Chad
A negociant label owned by winemaker Chad Alexander that has included a Pinot Noir from Sonoma Coast, Carneros and the Santa Lucia Highlands. The label was launched during the economic crisis in 2009 to take advantage of inventory that had backed up at prestigious wineries and protect the brand of the maker. He latches on to great juice offered on the market by distressed wineries or growers. The wines have been heavily discounted by Wine Access, which touts the wines and has buyers testimonies to back up their claims. The wines have shown up in restaurants like Boulud Sud and Bar Boulud in New York City.
