Fontes & Phillips Wines
Owner Alan Phillips is the Director of Winemaking for Terravant and has over thirty years of experience in the wine business. Most recently he was the General Manager and Winemaker at Foley Estates Winery. Rochelle Fontes-Phillips developed a career in wine compliance and accounting and assisted in the launch of Foley Estates and Lincourt Vineyards. In 2008, together they released the first of their wines under the Fontes & Phillips label. The wines are vineyard-designated, each bottling and finishing of the package is done by hand, and each bottle is personally labeled by Alan and Rochelle with pewter hand crafted labels from South America. The lineup of Santa Barbara County wines includes Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Rosé. In 2008, the Pinot Noir was sourced from La Encantada Vineyard. The wines are available through the winery's online store. |
