Hill Family Estate
The Hill Family has grown grapes for many of Napa Valley's finest wineries for over 25 years. In 2001, the Hills decided to produce their own wines. The family's first vineyard was planted in 1984: Beau Terre Vineyard is located in Carneros and planted to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The estate vineyards now total 11 with over 250 acres under vine. The winemaker is Alison Doran, a University of California at Davis graduate who was the winemaker for Lewis Cellars when she joined the Hill Family team in 2001. Ryan Hill has created limited editions of wine-stained guitars, surfboards and guns. A Stewart Ranch Pinot Noir is offered. The tasting room is combined with an antique and art shop in Yountville. A tour of the Hill Family Farm is available for parties of 6 or less ($45). |
