Frostwatch Vineyard & Winery
A small family owned operation crafting wines primarily sourced from an estate vineyard in Bennett Valley. Frostwatch Vineyard consists of 15 acres planted primarily to Chardonnay and Merlot with a half acre block of Zinfandel. One acre has been grafted over to Swan selection Pinot Noir. The viticultural consultant is Greg Bjornstad. The winemaker is Brett Raven, formerly of Ramey Vine Cellars who crafts the wines at Vinify in Santa Rosa. The first vintage of Pinot Noir is 2009, released in April 2011. The wines are available on the website using a downloadable order form. Mailing list customers receive significant discounts. |
