Annette and David Hunt bought Roudon-Smith Winery in 2003. In early 2011, the Hunts split the assets of Roudon-Smith with their partners who retained the name. The Hunts kept the original 1978 winery on Bean Creek Road in the Santa Cruz Mountains and launched Skov Winery.
The winery produces several varietals including Pinot Noir from purchased fruit, primarily from Santa Cruz Mountains sources.
