Mouvance
A family-owned winery in Carlton, Oregon, producing small quantities of wines with fruit from the estate Julon Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills. Mouvance is French for "circle of influence." The two founders are Judy Lassa, a Sr. VP at Boise Inc. who is in charge of wine sales and event management, and Lonnie Krawl, a Director of Human Resources for a company in Boise, Idaho, who has made the wine since the first vintage in 2008. Several Oregon winemakers have provided consulting support including Scott and Lisa Neal of Coeur de Terre, James and Andrea Frey and Greg McClellan of Trisaetum and Chris Lubberstedt at Methven. Total production of Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir is less than 300 cases. The wines are sold through the winery's online store. Visits and tasting are available on weekends 11:00-4:00. |
