Pfeiffer Winery
The Pfeiffer family moved to Oregon in 1947 after purchasing 80 acres that now make up Pfeiffer Vineyards and Pfeiffer Winery. Initially the property was used as a sheep farm. Robin Pfeiffer, a former teacher, became a viticulturist after retirement and took over management of the vineyard. Danuta Pfeiffer manages Villa Evenings, the winery's winemaker dinners for groups at the winery's entertainment venue. Other family members are involved as well. Pfeiffer Winery is one of the first completely solar operated facilities in the Willamette Valley and the first in Lane County. The winery produces limited amounts of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Rosé and Muscat which are sold through the tasting room, by telephone or through the winery's Wine Club. The tasting room is open daily from June through September. |
