High Pass Winery
High Pass Winery and vineyards are located in the southern portion of the Willamette Valley, 15 miles northwest of Eugene, Oregon. The winery specializes in Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and dessert wine varietals crafted by winemaker Dieter Boehm. Dieter Boehm acquired a 20-acre parcel of land west of Junction City, Oregon in 1984 and planted vines in 1985. The winery's first commercial crush came in 1994 at Broadley Vineyards. One year later, the winemaking facility at High Pass became licensed and the first crush took place that same year. Grapes are sourced from three vineyards: High Pass Vineyard, Priddy Vineyard and Walnut Ridge Vineyard. All vineyards are near the winery and are managed by the winemaker. High Pass wines are sold through the winery's online store and are reasonably priced. |
