A family-owned winery located on a 73-acre property above Saratoga, California. House Family wines are made exclusively from estate grapes grown in the Old Oak Vineyard on the property. Owner Dave House is also one of the four owners and Managing Partner of The Mountain Winery in Saratoga. Cathy Lego is Dave's partner and love who handles sales and marketing.
The winery specializes in Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay. The winemaker is world-renowned owner and winemaker at Mount Eden Vineyards, Jeffrey Patterson.
As of early 2012, there is apparently a Pinot Noir produced as well as I noticed the winery's name on the list of participants at the 2012 Pinot Paradise event in the Santa Cruz Mountains April 1. The wines are sold through a mailing list.
