Urbanite Cellars
Based in San Francisco, this winery was founded by Cuban ex-pat and importer Luis Moya. He arrived in California in 2003 after having worked at several landmark New York restaurants and founded Vinos Unico, importing wines from the Iberian peninsula and Portugal. In 2008 he launched Urbanite Cellars, a negociant winemaking project. Moya is closely involved in every aspect of the winemaking process. Seven wines are offered including the Solindo Los Carneros Pinot Noir which is crafted by winemaker Kenny Likitprakong from Francisco Robledo's fruit. The wines are offered in the retail market. |
