Orchard Heights
Michael and Gwen Purdy acquired the winery in 1996, which is surrounded by orchards of apples, cherries, pears and more. Multiple varietals are offered including Pinot Noir. The Purdys own a macadamaia nut orchard and chocolate factory, Island Princess Chocolates and Confections, in Hawaii. The tasting room is very popular and offers a popular Sunday brunch. In 2011, the winery received a Gold for Best and Friendliest Staff from the Statesman Journal Best of Mid-Valley awards. The tasting room is open daily in Salem, Oregon. |
