Ripken Vineyards & Winery
Richard Ripken wanted to make wine from unique grape varieties and based his family winery on that premise. His winery motto: "No boring wines." The family has a vast 675 acres in the Lodi region. The winery is located in a farm building that at one time served as housing for migrant workers. Ripken farms at least 50 different grapes, including Pinot Noir. A tasting room at 2472 W. Sargent Road in Lodi is open Friday-Sunday 12:00-4:00 or by appointment. |
