Proprietor Howard Rossbach produces four Pinot Noirs (Firesteed Oregon Pinot Noir, Firesteed Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, Citation Oregon Pinot Noir and Citation Willamette Valley Pinot Noir) as well as Oregon Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling and Rosé based on long-term contracts with growers.
In 2003, Firesteed bought Flynn Vineyards and transformed from a virtual winery established in Seattle, Washington, to a real winery. Production grew from 7,000 cases in 1992 to 60,000 cases annually. The winery is located in Rickreall, Oregon, 13 miles west of Salem, Oregon.
The wines are distributed nationally and internationally. A tasting room is open daily in Rickreall, Oregon.

Moderately light garnet color in the glass. Unusual
aromas of oiled wood, red candy, balsam and dark red cherry. Light to mid-weight flavors of cherry and
raspberry with a noticeable woody note. Easygoing but shallow, with tame tannins and a very modest finish.
