Mandolin
Named for the mandolin, an instrument in the lute family heralded for its brilliant tone and great carrying power. Mandolin is a collaboration between veteran winemaker Philip Zorn and longtime wine executive Brent Shortridge. Zorn has been winemaker at Sunny St. Helena, Gauer Estate, Paraiso Springs and Tria. Mandolin produces multiple varietals including Pinot Noir from grapes sourced from Santa Lucia Highlands (Pinot Noir), Arroyo Seco, and Hames Valley within Monterey County. The wines are value priced. Mandolin Wines are available for tasting at the new Taste at Oxbow in downtown Napa. The wines may be ordered online through the website as well. |
