Baldassari Family Wines
A small, family owned winery producing Syrah and Petite Sirah, as well as a Pinot Noir from Yorkville Highlands in Mendocino County. The winemaker is Matt Michael, a graduate of UC Davis in fermentation sciences. He has worked harvests in Southern Oregon, St. Francis Winery in Kenwood, California, and Delegats Wine Estate in New Zealand. He has served as assistant winemaker at Quivira Winery in Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County and Sebastiani Winery in Sonoma. He is currently the winemaker at Wattle Creek Winery in the Alexander Valley. The wines are sold on the winery website.
