Jeff Fischer started out with a friends and family label, Casa Pescador. He searched California looking for "the right grape to make wine on my mind," and landed in 2007 in Happy Canyon in Santa Barbara County.
Among the varietals produced is a Pinot Noir from La Encantada Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA.
