Winemaker Robert Lloyd obtained his Masters Degree in Enology from UC Davis in 1999. While in school, he interned at Kent Rasmussen Winery. After graduation, he became the Assistant Winemaker at La Crema and later joined Rombauer Vineyards in the same capacity, later rising to Winemaker until mid-2008. He then started Lloyd Wine Consulting and works with a number of clients as well as producing wine under his eponymous label.
In the 2010 vintage, the offerings including a Carneros Chardonnay and Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir. The wines are sold through a mailing list.
