A collaborative effort between Gruppo Mezzacorona and Sonoma Wine Company developed through the professional friendship between their respective winemakers. The wines are said to be "a fusion of Italian elegance and California appeal."

Axis wines are sourced from several California appellations and include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel.
