Ashton Vineyard was established in 1970 at the foot of Sonoma Mountain in Glen Ellen in the Valley of the Moon. The vineyard contains 7 clones of Pinot Noir and Syrah that are dry farmed and sustainably farmed.

The winemaker is Robert Rex who works at Deerfield Ranch Winery, one of only three certified organic wineries in Sonoma.
