James Moises honors his Lebanese heritage with this Willamette Valley label. Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris are offered from 40 acres. The first wines were released from the 2006 vintage.
James Moises is a New Orleanian doctor: "From the adrenaline rush of life-saving work in the emergency room to a life of patience and serenity in a small valley in Oregon, Moises is also a winemaker." He staffs the Tulane emergency room and manages to get to Oregon at least once a month, longer during the fall harvest. He splits his time 50-50 between wine and the ER but hopes that in the future it will be 70-30, wine to emergency room.
The wines are distributed to many of Oregon's finest restaurants and are available through the website.
