Thralls Family Cellars

A specialist in small lots of handcrafted Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast, Russian River Valley and Anderson Valley. Proprietors Ed and Jonjie named the winery after an Old Norse word, Thralls, meaning persons wholly obedient to a need or passion. Ed is the winemaker and the first vintage was 2011.

Ed studied viticulture and enology at University of California at Davis and is a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW). He is the director of consumer affairs at Flowers Vineyard & Winery.
