Pushback Wines

Nick Floulis was in the restaurant business when a dispute arose between him and his boss who told him to stop giving so much "pushback." Inspired by this phrase, which means "the act of forcing the enemy to withdraw," he ended his employment in the corporate world and moved to Napa to become a winemaker. He worked at both Stags Leap and St. Supery before launching his own wine label.

The consulting winemaker is Tom Rees, an experienced winemaker who has held winemaking positions at St. Supery and Rombauer Vineyards.
