Merriam Vineyards

This winery, specializing in small-lot, Bordeaux-style wines, is located in the hub of three major California AVAs - Russian River Valley, Dry Creek Valley and Alexander Valley. It was founded in 2000.

The estate Windacre Vineyard is located in the warmest corner of the Russian River Valley and is planted to sturdy red wine varieties. The estate Los Amigos Vineyard was planted to 5 acres of Pinot Noir and 2 acres of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon in 2009.

Owner Peter Merriam's passion is Pinot Noir and his spouse's favorite is Sauvignon Blanc. They both fell in love with wine on a honeymoon in France.

The winemaker is David Herzberg. An Estate and Cuvee Pinot Noir are offered and sold through the winery's website.

The winery's New England-style tasting room on Los Amigos Rd in Healdsburg is open daily.
