Joseph Blair Wines

Hand-crafted wines from winemaker Mark Cargasacchi in Lompoc, CA. A sister winery of Jalama Wines in the Lompoc Wine Ghetto, Joseph Blair Wines was founded in 2009 and a tasting room opened in early 2012.

Mark Cargassachi planted the first of the family vineyards in the Sta. Rita Hills in 1998 after pursuing a career in environmental chemistry in Texas and San Francisco. He worked at Fess Parker and Rideau Vineyard to hone his winemaking and vineyard skills.

The Heartbreak Pinot Noir is sourced from the family-owned Cargasacchi/Jalami Vineyard, the westernmost vineyard in Santa Barbara County. The vineyard is on a portion of the Cargassachi ranch which includes the Cargasacchi Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills. Other white and red varietals are produced from sourced grapes in Santa Barbara County.
