Winemaker Matt Courtney founded Ferren with longtime friend David Wherritt after an 8-year apprenticeship with Helen Turley at Marcassin Vineyard. The winery is dedicated to tiny lots of single-vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Sonoma Coast vineyards (Silver Eagle, Lancel Creek and Frei Road).

The wines are offered exclusively through an allocated mailing list.
