This winery was founded by Samuel Coelho, the son of celebrated Oregon winemakers Dave and Deolinda Coelho, and Ryn Lynch. The focus is premium Pinot Noir and Riesling from the Willamette Valley, and a Rogue Valley Syrah.
Samuel helped plant the Coelho estate vineyard in 2002. After graduating from Oregon State University in 2009, he joined Coelho Winery full time. He splits his time currently as winemaker for Samuel Robert Winery. Bryn oversees marketing and the Samuel Robert Winery Tasting Room and Art Galley.
The winery's estate vineyard is the Perrydale Hills Vineyard in Amity.
The winery's tasting room, originally a post office and barber shop, received the Best Historical Renovation award from Oregon Main Street in 2014. It is open Wednesday-Sunday at 510 S. Trade Street in Amity.

garnet color in the glass. Pleasing aromas of strawberry, red cherry, bark and earthy flora. Lighter
weighted flavors of strawberry and red cherry. Silky in the mouth, with aggressive tannins that stick
out on the dry, crisp and red cherry driven finish.
