Notre Vue Estate Winery & Vineyards

Founders Bob and Renee Stein acquired a 710-acre estate uniquely situated within both the Russian River Valley and Chalk Hill appellations in 1992. There are 250 planted acres.

The winery team and winemaker Michael Westrick produce wines under the Notre Vue Estate and Balverne Reserve labels. Both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are offered under the Balverne label. The Balverne name dates to 1972, but was brought to life again in 2012. The Steins resurrected the red-tailed hawk design of the original label and maintained the Anglo-French name that is based on the natural beauty of the site known as "Place of Trees." Taste wines from both labels at the winery's tasting room in Windsor. Balverne wines available for tasting without reservations: the limited-production Notre Vue wines can be tasted by appointment.
