Calmére Estate

A family-owned winery established in 2016. The Peju family purchased 100 acres in Carneros and a state-of-the-art winery (formerly Acacia Winery). Two years were spent developing the brand. Initially, the winery was named Liana Estates but trademark issues led them to change the name to Calmére.

The focus is on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and sparkling wine. Total production is about 7,000 cases annually

The owners are Lisa and Ariana, both daughters of Tony and Herta Peju, the founders of Peju Winery.

The name Calmére comes from the French words for calm (calme) and sea (mer).

The winery is open daily for tasting (reservations suggested).
