Hundred Acre
A Napa producer of Cabernet Sauvignon that also releases a Rose and Chardonnay with gold flecks suspended in the wine. Quite an eye-catcher.
Articles About Hundred AcreReviewed Wines2006 Pink Gold California Vin Gris 13.9% alc.. $20. I included this wine because of its novelty. There are two bottlings, Gold which contains Chardonnay and other aromatic varietals from Australia, and Pink Gold, which is a vin gris of Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Both wines contain 24K gold flakes. Tall bottle, white synthetic cork. · Pale apricot color. Fragrent strawberries, persimmon and baking spice. Strawberry and spiced peach flavors. Soft, with a clean finish. Reviewed May 26, 2008 ARTICLE »
