Using estate grapes and grapes sourced from L'Attitude Vineyard in the Cromwell Basin, this producer releases 3,500 cases of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris annually. The winemaker is noted veteran Dean Shaw who crafts the wines at The Central Otago Wine Company (COWCo).
Articles About Nevis BluffReviewed Wines![]() 2006 Nevis Bluff Central Otago Pinot Noir 13.0% alc., $26.50, screw cap. Sourced from vines planted in1993 in Gibbston and vineyards nearby. Imported by Station Imports LLC, Colorado Springs, Colorado. · Dried herbs and daisies on the nose followed in the mouth by rich, mouth filling strawberries, raspberries and cherries. The finish has good cut. A well-crafted, decent wine that is a bit bland but represents reasonably good value. Reviewed May 7, 2009 ARTICLE »
2002 Nevis Bluff Central Otago New Zealand Pinot Noir 13.5% alc., $26. From a single vineyard of 11-year-old vines in Gibbston Valley, Central Otago. · A bigger styled Pinot Noir with a funky nose and flavors.
