Wines of Redemption

Starting in 2003, Chris and Alexa Cutler started a boutique wine company called Canvas Wines which made custom wines for an array of clients, including Stanford Graduate School of Business and Casa del Mar/Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica. Chris developed a working relationship with winemakers Emmanuel Kemiji (Miura) and Byron Kosuge (Saintsbury, B. Kosuge Wines). When Wines of Redemption was launched, Emmanuel Kemiji became the winemaker, Byron Kosuge the Consulting Winemaker and Pat Knittel the Assistant Winemaker. the bottles display original artwork by outstanding new artists.

The inaugural release is the 2007 Redemption Pinot Noir from Mission Ranch Vineyard (formerly Mirassou Vineyard) in the Arroyo Seco region of Monterey County. The wine is sold on the website and through fine wine retailers.
