Loren Tayerle set up a small winery in an industrial section of West Oakland (O2 Artisans Aggregate). Tayerle's experience in winemaking was first gained at David Bruce and then Rosenblum Cellars. He is also a consulting winemaker for Aubin Cellars Verve label and Ranchita Canyon Vineyards.
Tayerle's winemaking aesthetics come from his career as a classical musician which continues to this day. He juggles his performing schedule with studies in viticulture and enology at University California Davis and Napa Valley College.
Small lots of appellation-designated Pinot Noir are produced from Carneros and the Russian River Valley in addition to several other varietal wines. The wines are available online.
