2009 Rivers-Marie Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

14.1% alc.. · Dark reddish purple color in the glass. Leading off are scents of blackberry jam and oak char. Sappy black fruits saturate the palate but there isn’t much else to note. The tannins are soft, the texture is plush, and the finish is filled with fruit and a hint of nutty oak. Drink now to 2020. Score: 85. Reviewed March 29, 2017
