Aged 17 months in French oak barrels. · Moderately dark garnet color in the glass. Uplifting aromas of wild berries, fruit cake, oak vanillin and brioche. Mid weight styled, with soothing flavors of dark red cherry and berry and back notes of exotic tea and nutty oak. Ideal balance, with a finish awash in berry fruits. Score: 92. Reviewed May 7, 2017
